Welcome to Helsingin Palloseura (HPS)
Founded in 1917, Helsingin Palloseura is one of Finland’s oldest and most respected football clubs. With over 1,600 active members, we are a vibrant and growing community that brings together players of all ages and skill levels—from grassroots to elite competition.
We are proud to be the third-largest girls' football club in Finland, and a leading force in promoting equality, inclusion, and youth development through sport. Our women’s first team competes in the National League, aiming for top-tier success and international recognition. Our men’s team has recently been promoted to Division Two, reflecting the club’s strong development across all levels.
At HPS, football is more than a game—it’s a way to build community, inspire young people, and create lasting impact. We offer a wide range of programs including family football, school collaborations, summer camps, adult recreational teams, and senior football. Our events, such as the HPS Summer Festival and Pakila Cups, bring together families, fans, and partners in celebration of sport and togetherness.
We are committed to responsibility, safety, and mental well-being, and actively engage in campaigns that promote fair play, kindness, and social awareness. Our club’s societal value is estimated to exceed €7 million, and we continue to grow through innovation, passion, and strong partnerships.
Whether you’re a player, parent, fan, or partner—welcome to HPS. Together, we move forward.
